Halloween is coming up!
Such a great season and with Halloween and autumn comes all the beautiful pumpkins and winter squashes. We found a great variety called sweet dumpling squash and thought it was perfect for scanning.
This is also an example of how the scanner performs in turbo mode scanning.
Look at the example scans below and let us know on Facebook or Instagram what you think!
- Turbo mode
- 2 scan passes
- Automatic meshed in SOL Creator software
- Far scanner position
- 10 minutes/scanning pass
The time use for scanning is always dependent on the computer used with the scanner. However by plugging in your laptop while scanning you can get a bit extra speed.
We have also made two scans with one scanning pass each - in normal mode and turbo mode - for you to compare. Please note that when using only one scanning pass the bottom part is not scanned - the first scan will show you how it looks with two scanning passes.
- Turbo mode
- 1 scan pass*
- Far scanner position
- 10 minutes
- Normal mode
- 1 scan pass*
- Far scanner position
- 17 minutes
*) Using only one scan pass will not scan the bottom of the scanned object. See the difference in the first example where 2 scan passes are used so the bottom part is scanned as well - and automatically meshed.
